Hello Everyone!

As discussed in June, I have created some summer professional development courses that pertain to the curriculum groups found on the PEARLS ning. This will give you the opportunity to create and better understand how these tools can be implemented into classroom instruction. In addition, I know that the open conversations within the curriculum groups along with some hands-on experience will have an impact on how to start shifting your schools towards the 21st century. The experts in the designated rooms are a tremendously powerful source and can help to guide all of us through the journey so please feel free to ask or discuss any issues that you might have.

These courses have been scheduled in protraxx and all participants, both public and nonpublic, must register to attend. I will gladly help walk you through the registration. When you do sign in, do a quick search for the courses under Title-OITR and Department-instructional technology and you will see a list of courses. Please disregard the mention of paying for courses, they are all at no cost. and please make sure they say for PEARLS members since there are other pd courses scheduled for the other grants.
